How to Choose Overland Communications: Part 1 - What do CB, FRS and GMRS mean?

We've been there! And so we created this video series, so you can make a quick, informed decision about what communication devices will work best for the style of trips that you take.

In Part 1 of this video series we talk about communications for a Level 1 Trip, that is, a Trip that has only limited time Off-Grid, and is still Tow Truck Accessible. We focus on the common basic radio type of CB, FRS, and GRMS. Not sure what those mean, well watch and find out!

- Tow Truck Accessible
- Mostly On-Grid

Level 2 Trip: Intermediate
- Tow Truck Accessible
- On the Fringes of the Grid with Some Time Off-Grid

Level 3 Trip: Advanced
- Not Tow Truck Accessible
- Extended Time Off-Grid
