Tangled deer wrestles with wildlife rescuer!

We get called out to rescue deer trapped in a number of odd situations, but entanglement in fencing is, sadly, a common sight.

We were recently called out to rescue a young male deer that had become trapped in a rope fence. Simon and volunteer Louise rushed to the scene, where the deer was very tangled and very feisty!

With cutters in hand, Simon set to work, but the deer was not going to be set free easily...
