15 Years Later Ashland Gay Bashing Victim Still Speaking Out
More than 15 years after he was bullied at Ashland High School for being gay, Jamie Nabozny is still bringing his message against gay bashing to light.
Nabozny spoke to a large crowd at the University of Wisconsin Superior. This event is one of UW-Superior's events for National Coming Out Week. His message was simple: have the courage not only to stand up for yourself but others being bullied around you.
Nabozny spreads this message by speaking at schools across the country. Thursday was one of the first times Nabonzy has spoke in the Northland.
