Glock 81 Field Knife - Survival knife - Fighting Knife - Bayonet

This Glock 81 Field knife or depending on your needs a survival knife, fighting knife of bayonet for the Steyr AUG rifle.

This knife has 1090 high carbon spring steel which can hold an edge, is tempered at rockwell 55 hardness so that it can withstand the rigours of use and abuse while being able to hold it's edge decently. It is easy to sharpen, is nicely balanced so it can be used as a throwing knife.

This is cheaper than a Ka-Bar USMC, but offers similar capabilities, though being a slightly shorter, less tall and lighter knife. This means it would not be as good at chopping since it does not have as much weight, but in a pinch it can do it all.

This has been called a sharpened pry-bar, because of how hardy this knife is and able to pry without snapping under normal use and abuse.

The model 81 that I have has a saw on the back, for light sawing of roots and making notches in wood. You could possibly saw larger things but it would take a long time, because of the type of saw this has.

This is a great knife that would be useful for bushcraft uses as well as survival and military uses.
