CB500 Exhaust Stud Extraction - Part 2
Part 2 - with a couple of days for the penetrating fluid to do its work, back on with the lock nuts and a splash of red thread lock and the exhaust stud was easily removed. My fault for over torquing the stud nut, but they all come loose quite often and I was just doing a bit of routine maintence when this one sheared. Lesson learned and disaster averted, new studs on order ! Just a bit sad I can’t can ride it over the holidays.
