11 The One Who Left 6 Day Bender Eastham Basement 2007

Born in the woods outside Charlottesville, Virginia, 6 Day Bender played (RIP) mountain rock 'n' roll: a genre-straddling blend of rock, blues and bluegrass that convincingly planted one foot on the front porch and the other in the garage.

The band's second full album, E'ville Fuzz's title references the farmhouse in Earlysville, Virginia (hell ya), where the band crafted the album's thirteen songs as well as the 'fuzzier,' more blues-oriented dimension the album explores.

Truth be told....6 Day Bender was one of the best examples of blending genres from punk to bluegrass that ever was. Right up there with Trampled by Turtles and Old Crow Medicine Show, this band was something very special. It's shame they don't play anymore, but the art they left behind is worth celebrating for years and years.

Band members I think I know the names of:
- Luke
- Lauren
- Mark
- Corey
- Alec (?)
- Other (???)
