Aussie dollar rises after interest rate decision, but the ASX falls | ABC NEWS

The Reserve Bank left interest rates on hold at 3.6% in a move widely expected by economists and the markets.
The Aussie dollar started going up when RBA Governor Michele Bullock started her rates decision press conference and began talking about an extended hold or rate rises.
Meanwhile, the ASX200 closed down -0.4% to 8,585 points, while the broader All Ordinaries fell -0.4% to 8,875 points.
