Strange Occurance in Engine Room on board the USS Texas

January 2008.
After almost 2 hours of touring the ship, we made it down into the engine room. Extremely loud but as we head down a passageway, it becomes eerily quiet and just as my buddy mentions it, static comes through the speakers followed by music right on cue. There were no motion sensors and the music wasn't playing on any other levels of the ship. By the way it looked, the ship's speakers hadn't been in service for decades.
