2007 NCHSAA 2AA State Championship Game Shelby Golden Lions v Reidsville Rams

The Shelby Golden Lions faced the Reidsville Rams in the 2007 2AA State Championship Game at Carter-Finley Stadium on the campus of NC State University on December 8, 2007. The Rams were undefeated with a record of 15-0. The Golden Lions were 14-1. The Rams and Golden Lions had played for the State Championship in 2005 as well. The Golden Lions were also playing in their fourth consecutive State Championship game. Shelby wore black jerseys and pants, while Reidsville wore white jerseys and gold pants. Reidsville led 28-7 in the third quarter, but Shelby responded with two touchdowns to get back to within one score. Reidsville was able to stop Shelby on fourth down late in the fourth quarter and hang on for the victory by a score of 28-20.
