Coventry Cathedral . The old Cathedral Architecture ruins. A living visual history lesson.

My sweet wife is visiting mom in Poland. A taxi to the Birmingham International airport for the flight saw us enjoying a coffee with a few tears from me. Once she was safely through departures I caught the bus to Coventry Cathedral as the weather was gorgeous. The Cathedral ruins, a result of the devastating bombing of Coventry City in World War 2 left me astonished and made me question the human condition.

Editing Notes:
Considerable effort was made to reproduce highly realistic skin tones and the reflective surfaces of Glass, porcelain, car paint, wall tiles and advertising displays. As a juxtaposition to the Cathedral ruin, which is missing all of these. Shattered by the compression waves of the explosions that ripped the City apart on that fateful night.
