One of the benefits of being part of the skoolie community is making friends who are super clever. Thanks to Aaron + Sarah from North Star Journey for sharing your brilliant idea on how to DIY Roof Rack Mounts using Unistrut!

We wanted something modular, that we could change up in the future if we wanted to adjust our roof rack, or add more solar panels. Their idea is simple and streamlined, which is key for a skoolie roof set up.

Though we ended up making some adjustments to their design based on our needs... We think you are really going to love seeing how North Star Journey did their roof rack mounts and how we did ours, so you can come up with a design that fits your bus.
