The Tom Holland Uncharted movie, based on the Uncharted games, has its release date soon. But in 2011 The Adventures of Tintin movie gave us the Uncharted movie adaptation that we always wanted (besides, of course, the Nathan Fillion Uncharted fan film linked below). After three Uncharted movie trailers, its fair to say fans are sceptical over the adaptation – this video essay is for those fans who are looking for a real Uncharted movie.

This video essay looks at the Tintin movie, directed by Steven Spielberg, and compares Tintin to Uncharted, because The Adventures of Tintin is an Uncharted movie in all but name, and in many ways it is a better Uncharted game adaptation than the Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland led adaptation being released later this month on 18 February.
