VTS2022 Tilt Position Sensor | Dual-Axis, Vibration-Tolerant (J1939, IP67)

Curtiss-Wright introduces the VTS2022, a two-channel, dual-axis, vibration-tolerant tilt position sensor designed for dynamic industrial applications, including pitch and roll detection for off-highway vehicles and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).

Using IMU technology and fast-acting software algorithms, VTS2022 filters disturbances from vibration and vehicle motion to provide stable output without the measurement delays associated with heavily damped traditional sensing methods.

Each measurement axis includes two sensing elements that are continuously compared to help ensure correct operation. If an error is detected, the condition is communicated to the host electronics so a safe operating situation can be assumed. Outputs are also calibrated to account for thermal drift for accuracy across the operating temperature range.

• SAE J1939 CANbus output (choice of baud and frame rates)
• Thermally compensated over -40°C to +85°C
