OMSI 2 - Ikarus EAG 395

The 395/E95 series is a true success story. With a total of 645 units it was one of the most successful products of Ikarus Special Coach Factory.

The 395 series was introduced in 1992 to fill the gap in the fleet of Volán companies operating intercity routes, but its features and appearance made it suitable for international and coach lines as well. The series was offered with 4 different chassis made by Rába, Scania, Volvo or DAF.

The prototype - designated as type 395.12 - was built on Scania's L113 chassis. It was followed by 102 more units built on the same type of chassis, until the 1997 introduction of Scania's 4 series chassis.

This bus is powered by a 300 hp Scania DSC11-16 Euro 1 diesel engine with a Scania Comfort Shift 7-speed manual gearbox.

The bus was released unfinished. The original authors are no longer developing it. It is playable, but expect bugs and/or missing features. Also expect patches and fixes. 😉
