"I think people will lean to vote for what is already there. For good or bad, this is already working, rather than trying other sectors. Although Marine Le Pen is more moderate now, she started to talk about purchasing power and some concrete problems of the French outside immigration. "We have presidential elections, the first round is Sunday but the French in the Americas vote on Saturday so as not to delay the final result, and the second round will be in two weeks. Here in Chile we have a little over 9,500 registered voters."

STORYLINE:
French migrants living in Buenos Aires and Santiago cast their vote on Saturday 9th, one day ahead of the general elections in France.
Lyceums and the French Embassies at the capitals were some of the facilities used as voting centers.
French officials estimate that between 15 to 20 thousand French citizens live in Argentina, and nearly 10,000 are eligible to cast their vote. A similar number, nearly 9,500 have enrolled to vote from Chile.  
  
Pascal Teixeira da Silva, French Ambassador to Chile, explained that although the first round is scheduled for Sunday, French migrants living in the Americas cast their votes one day before to avoid delaying the results.
France's first round of the presidential election takes place on April 10, with a presidential runoff on April 24 if no candidate wins outright.
