By walking during the morning rush hours (~9am) from Penn Station to Grand Central (via 34th st, 5th Ave, and 42th st), we can see people commuting from/to all directions.

Penn Station and Grand Central are two major train stations in Manhattan, New York City. Every day there are about 1.4 million people passing through these two stations. In the rush hours, most of them are commuting from/to Greater New York City Area including Long Island, New Jersey, Upper New York State, and Connecticut.
