Taifun® wet biowaste collection up and running in Tripla, the largest shopping mall in the Nordics

Waste to energy! In Tripla Shopping Mall, Helsinki, Finland, the restaurant personnel use Taifun® Vacuum Conveying system for hygienic conveying of wet biowaste, such as the leftovers. Waste ends up in biowaste tank, which is located 300 meters away. Then it’s taken forward with a truck to a biogas plant nearby.

Our MetroTaifun® system takes care of collecting mixed waste, paper and cardboard in the business premises. In the residential area, also bio waste and plastic is collected with MetroTaifun®.
