Toyota unleashed a blitz of 16 electric vehicle concepts, ranging from lux Lexuses to sports cars and utility vehicles. The company also stated that it aims to release 30 different EV models by the year 2030 with a global investment of $70 billion in the electrification of its vehicle lineup.

Pickup trucks are meant to haul, tow, and play hard which would need constant power support and it just didn't make sense that a battery would be able to provide that much power. But now it's more than plausible and big automotive names are launching their model of electric pickup. One of the recent additions in the company names is Toyota with $70 billion of investment! Yes, this Japanese automotive giant is planning to start it's pickup lineup and it will compete with companies like Rivian and the only automotive company that is worth trillion dollars, Tesla.
