Mike is an electrical engineer in the energy industry, specialized in electric power systems, clean energy production, and sustainable development.

Having grown up in Steubenville, Ohio, Mike’s Steel Valley upbringing gave way to opportunities to travel and explore 8 distinct regions of North America in the course of his engineering career. Over time, however, Mike grew weary of this nomadic existence, increasingly yearning for the people and attitudes of his home state that continued to resonate in his heart despite having lay dormant for years while living far from home.
