Skin Peeling (Seborrheic Keratosis) | CONTOUR DERMATOLOGY

Our Nurse Practitioner, Jessica Batterson, narrates what Seborrheic Keratoses are. Seborrheic keratoses are non-cancerous growths of the outer layer of skin, they are the most common benign tumor in older individuals.

They are usually brown but can vary in color from light tan to black. They vary in size from a fraction of an inch in diameter to larger than a half-dollar. The main feature of seborrheic keratoses is their waxy, “pasted-on” or “stuck-on” look.

Dr. Jochen specializes in Mohs Surgery for skin cancer removal, facial rejuvenation including cosmetic laser technology, Botox®, and facial fillers, soft tissue augmentation, leg and facial vein treatment, tumescent liposuction, and hair restoration/transplants.
