Removing the Engine from my BLOWN Mazda RX8

Today we pull the engine from my non running Mazda RX8 so we can get ready to tear it apart next week! There are many ways to pull one of these engines. I prefer to remove the transmission and pull the engine out the top. Some people like to pull the engine out with the transmission so you leave the driveshaft, PPF, and exhaust in the car. Some people take it out the bottom too. This is the first time I pulled an RX8 engine and it took me 10 hours. So if it is your first time, plan for about that much time while you try to figure out everything that needs to come out. I have gotten this method down to about 4 hours now with 2 people.
