Blue Springs By Boat

One of Florida's hidden gems is located in central Florida on the St. Johns River. Known for manatee sightings, especially in the winter time. This Natural spring stays a cool 72 degrees year round. So it is perfect to take a dip when the weather is hot. We rented a boat from the Highland Park Fish Camp and took a ride down the river to the entrance of the spring. You have to tie the boat off at the side entrance and walk through the swamp to enter the park. There are lots of different species of fish including Gar, Mullet, and perch swimming alongside people floating the spring.
