665 Million Pixel Image Of The Triangulum Galaxy #amazing #future #science

The image, published on January 7th, was assembled from 54 individual photos taken by the ACS camera of the Hubble Telescope.

Messier 33 is a spiral galaxy located in the Triangulum constellation, situated 2.7 million light-years away from us. This makes it the second closest major galaxy to the Milky Way. It is part of the Local Group of galaxies, which comprises over 50 galaxies, including the Milky Way and the Andromeda Nebula. In terms of size, it ranks third within the group.
