Here’s how to add new tools to your Adobe Acrobat PDF Editor toolbar on your Mac or Windows PC.
By default, the PDF Editor toolbar comes with a few built-in tools for editing PDF files.
To customize it, click the More option at the end of the toolbar, then select Customize Toolbar.
If you don’t see the customization option here, first make sure you have an active Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription.
If your subscription is already active, wait a few minutes for the premium features to finish downloading and syncing with your account.
After that, restart the Acrobat app and check the toolbar options again. The customization feature should start showing up automatically.
Now you can add new PDF editing tools to your toolbar. For example, if you want to add the Watermark tool, go to the Edit a PDF section and find Watermark.
Click the Plus icon next to it to add it to your toolbar.
If you want to separate tools for a cleaner layout, use the Separator option located below the tool list.
You can repeat the same steps to add more tools like Add Text, Link, Crop Page, or Add Image.
To rearrange the toolbar icons, use the Up or Down arrow buttons to move them around.
If you want to remove a tool from the toolbar, click the Delete icon next to it.
Once you’re done, click Save to apply all the changes.
If you ever want to restore the default toolbar layout, click Reset Toolbar under the More option.
That’s it.
