Romany Polka

Choreographed by Richard Powers, following original 19th century steps and prototypes of polka choreographies. Cellarius, D'Albert, Durang and others choreographed long polka sequences like this one. Music by Victor Herbert, from a 19th century opera. Performed at the Trianon Historical Dance Festival, Moscow by Julien Tiberghien, Marie-Emilie Cappel, Yves Girard and Marina Grinstein.
