Leningradsky Prospekt (in common parlance - Leningradka; until 1957 - part of the Leningradskoye Highway; In 1915-1924 - part of the Petrogradskoye Highway; until 1915 - part of the Petersburg Highway) - an avenue in the Northern Administrative District of Moscow, one of the most important transport routes of the capital city.

Ernst Thälmann (German - Ernst Thälmann; April 16, 1886, Hamburg - August 18, 1944, Buchenwald concentration camp) - chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Germany (KKE) (1925-1933), deputy of the Reichstag (1924-1933). He ran twice in the presidential elections (1925, 1932).
On the night of February 27-28, 1933, 1933, a fire broke out in the Reichstag. The National Socialists used it as an excuse to ban the Communist Party and arrest many prominent communists. Thälmann was arrested on March 3, two days before the elections, in which the communists received 4.8 million votes - 81 seats in the Reichstag.
Ernst Telman spent 12 years in prison.
On September 14, 1944, the German news agency DNB issued a report that Thälmann was killed on August 28 as a result of the bombing of the Buchenwald camp by Allied aircraft.

The Petrovsky Path (entrance) Palace on Tverskoy Trakt (Leningradsky Prospect) is a traveling palace at the entrance to Moscow from St. Petersburg. It was erected in the 1776-1780s by the project of the architect Matvey Kazakov and is an example of Russian neo-Gothic architecture.

Catherine II gave the order for the construction of the palace in connection with the successful completion of the Russo-Turkish war of 1768-1774, it served as a residence for noble persons after a long journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow (hence its name - "travel").

The avenue begins as a continuation of the 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya street, not far from the Belorussky railway station. Further, the avenue goes to the north-west and ends at the intersection with Alabyana and Baltiyskaya streets, at the high-rise building of the Gidroproekt Institute, where this route is divided into Leningradskoe and Volokolamskoe highways.

Эрнст Тельманн (нем. - Ernst Thälmann; 16 апреля 1886, Гамбург - 18 августа 1944, концлагерь Бухенвальд) - председатель ЦК Коммунистической партии Германии (КПГ) (1925-1933), депутат Рейхстага ( 1924-1933). Дважды баллотировался на президентских выборах (1925, 1932).
В ночь с 27 на 28 февраля 1933 года 1933 года в Рейхстаге вспыхнул пожар.
