DIY Jointer from an electric planer

This week in the Cornerfield Shop I'm building a DIY Jointer. Or at least, that was the idea... Unfortunately, the machine died on me so to me it's not a very helpful build for me but it's not a complete waste. If you want to build one yourself this video could still be useful.

Essentially it's an upside-down electric hand planer with a fence. I wanted to make a bit fancier than it ended up being at the end of the build but since the machine is dead I didn't bother.
