The Jardim Botânico de Curitiba is one of the main tourist attractions in the city of Curitiba, capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná. It is located in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood.

In 2007 it was the most voted monument in an election to choose the Seven Wonders of Brazil, promoted by the Mapa-Mundi website.

Inaugurated on October 5, 1991, its official name (Francisca Richbieter Botanical Garden) pays homage to urban planner Francisca Maria Garfunkel Rischbieter, one of the pioneers in urban planning work in the capital of Paraná.

The entire Botanical Garden has a total area of 278 thousand square meters, including the forest with preserved Atlantic forest. It is located on Engenheiro Ostoja Roguski street (first perimeter of the neighborhoods), Jardim Botânico district.

The garden contains numerous plant specimens from Brazil and other countries, spread over boulevards and iron and glass greenhouses, the main one with three vaults in the Art Nouveau style and was inspired by the 19th century London Crystal Palace. The greenhouse is heated and maintains Atlantic Forest species such as Caraguatá, Caetê and Palmito. From its interior, it is possible to have a privileged view of the French-style garden.
