I had the amazing opportunity to go to Kake, Alaska for missions with my church. We were welcomed like family and we had such a blessed time during our stay in Kake. We are so thankful to Pastor Joey and his family (his wife, Heea and his two daughters Lydia, and Maria) and Kake Memorial Presbyterian Church for giving us the experience we had. During our time we had a five-day VBS program with the children and youth, participated in a soup kitchen called “Peace of Kake”, and had a praise night with the Kake community from the little ones to the elders. Again and again, we were reminded of God's goodness and God's grace and God's love even through the different struggles we came across. I made this little video so that I could share with those who really supported our team through prayer and financial gift a little insight on what we experienced in Kake and to forever remember God's heart for Kake.
