03 In Search Of Orchestra - Phenomena Theme

This is the solitary "soundtrack album" associated with In Search Of... (by Rinder and Lewis on AVI Records 1977). With a few exceptions, it is somewhat disappointing to fans of the show because only a few tracks were actually featured in the series. The non-series songs are masterful and generally upbeat, straying from the creepy and suspenseful mystery music that fans of the show grew to love. Perhaps Rinder and Lewis felt that the original show pieces were not "musical" enough to be featured; they actually wrote, performed and produced a lot of disco music, including projects El Coco, Saint Tropez, and Le Pamplemousse.
