YOU GOT ME WHERE YOU WANT ME - JOHN BRIM (FEAT. LITTLE WALTER)
"You Got Me" was the very last recording John Brim had made for Chess Records on April 5, 1956 - and again with that stellar line-up featuring 'Little Walter' on harmonica, guitarist Robert Lockwood Jr., Willie Dixon with his doghouse bass and Fred Below pounding the drum skins.
It wouldn't be until 1989 that Brim was sort of rediscovered and entered a recording studio again. In 1999 his drumming wife Grace had died, but John would still appear on stages every now and then until shortly before his death at age 81 on October 1, 2003. Please enjoy the Chicago blues of John Brim!
