B Slade & Stevie Mackey Perform "Diamonds"

Music aficionado and celebrity vocal coach, Stevie Mackey sure knows how to throw a party. Recently, to celebrate his birthday, the vocal sense' threw a Taco-Tuesday fest at his home and invited LA's best singers and most noteworthy socialites to join in on what became a musical night to remember.

Mackey, known for his concert-style Taco-Tuesday nights, which feature LA's favorite dish combined with gifted singers belting out originals and cover songs over a well-tuned sound system in the performance-ready living room while Mackey tickles the keys.

One of my favorite performances from the night was Mackey's duet performance with the vocal super-hero, B Slade, who sat on the floor in the wall-to-wall packed house, singing his heart out as people rushed in to listen in any way they could, even if that meant peering into the front windows.

Check out this noteworthy performance as B Slade effortlessly belts out "Vagabond 2" from his own project, "My September Issue" (avail on itunes: https://itun.es/us/R5Nmfb) then the pair sonically dance over Rihanna's "Diamonds."
