Fender Vintera '50s Stratocaster

We're back with another episode of Focus On Sound, and today’s #GuitarOfTheDay is from @Fender’s Vintera Series - a gorgeous White Blonde 50s Stratocaster. With an ash body exhibiting tons of swirly grain that you can make out under its translucent finish, this classic looking guitar is designed to have a vintage aesthetic, while still appealing to modern era players.

The guitar is powered by a trio of Fender’s superb vintage-style 50s Strat single coil-pickups, while its maple neck sports a Soft V profile, 21 vintage frets and a 7.25” fingerboard radius for that authentic playing experience. In this clip, you’re listening to the guitar plugged into a superb, Denmark Street-made, Regent Sounds-exclusive Princeton Reverb combo from RJ Ampworks, and a Vemuram Jan Ray overdrive.

s you can hear, this Strat has plenty of heft to its tone, while still retaining buckets of vintage-voiced spank and twang. They’re really great instruments!
