Barry Broome is the president and CEO of the Great Sacramento Area Economic Council, better known as “GSAC”. He is the architect of Sacramento’s productive strategic plan to attract and support business. Barry was recruited to Sacramento after a highly successful stint in a similar role in Phoenix. He quickly realized that UC Davis and Sacramento State were producing an amazing talent pool and that the cost of living here was far more affordable than in the Bay Area or Silicon Valley. He defined the Sacramento region’s competitive differentiators and is successfully building the Sacramento brand.
