RUSSIAN city in FINLAND? I Hanko (Imperial barracks, villas, frontline)

Beautiful small coastal city Hanko was granted the Imperial Charter for the city by Tsar Alexander II.
The city was popular amongst Russian nobles as spa resort. Around that spa there were built many beautiful imperial era's villas and the legendary casino which we had the chance to see also from the inside. Hanko was also a Soviet military base city in 1940-41 and had it's share if Finnish-Russian Continuation War.
