Blind and bound in chains, Samson stood in the temple of Dagon, surrounded by mocking Philistines. The crowd, thousands strong, cheered, celebrating their supposed victory over Israel’s once-mighty judge.

“Bring him out!” they jeered. “Let him entertain us!”

Led by a servant, Samson was positioned between two massive pillars supporting the temple. His heart burned with repentance and resolve. Whispering a prayer, he pleaded, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Strengthen me just once more, that I may avenge the Philistines for my eyes.”

Gripping the pillars with all his might, Samson pushed, his muscles trembling under the weight of his faith. “Let me die with the Philistines!” he cried.

The pillars groaned and cracked. The entire structure collapsed, crushing everyone inside, including Samson himself. Though he perished, his final act defeated more Philistines than he had in his entire life.

Samson’s sacrifice became a powerful reminder: even flawed individuals can fulfill God’s purposes, and ultimate strength comes from Him alone.
