Bike Magazine's - Glorious Ride

Welcome to my channel if you’re new here, and a big thank you to my subscribers for being part of the growth in this channel.

This is my edited Bike Magazine’s route, named the ‘Glorious Ride’ that took us about 2hr 20min in total to ride. In my opinion, this is a fabulous half-day ride, as you whoop and holler your way around this fairground of rides.

I began my route from the home of my touring buddy, Wayne, in the historic town of Stamford, Lincolnshire. We then rode North across country from Stamford, to pick up the ‘Glorious Ride’, just West of its start, outside the town of Bourne.

I share the following quotes with you, from the Bike article on P.118 of their July 2021 magazine - “Bike staffers have been enjoying this Glorious Ride for decades. Plenty of road tests have been photographed on almost every section. The route is 100-ish miles long and it passes through Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland. The roads are almost all B-roads, which means they’re usually pretty quiet, and cram in a lot of variation.”

However, keep your eyes peeled for the differing speed signs; average speed cameras areas…and the local cops! We saw the same motorcycle policeman, in different villages, a couple of times during our loop ride.
