Strangers in the Night (it: "sconosciuti nella notte") è una celebre canzone, scritta da Bert Kaempfert per la musica e da Charles Singleton ed Eddie Snyder per il testo. Venne incisa per la prima volta nel 1966 dal cantante statunitense Frank Sinatra, che ne ha fatto uno dei suoi tanti cavalli di battaglia ed ha raggiunto la prima posizione nella classifica Billboard Hot 100, nella Official Singles Chart per tre settimane, in Austria per tre settimane, in Italia per dieci settimane, in Germania per otto settimane e nelle Fiandre in Belgio per nove settimane, la terza posizione in Olanda e la quinta in Norvegia.
Nel 1967 vince il Grammy Award alla registrazione dell'anno ed il Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

"Strangers in the Night" is a song credited to Bert Kaempfert with English lyrics by Charles Singleton and Eddie Snyder. Kaempfert originally used it under the title "Beddy Bye" as part of the instrumental score for the movie A Man Could Get Killed. The song was made famous in 1966 by Frank Sinatra, although it was initially given to Melina Mercouri, who thought that a man's vocals would better suit the melody and therefore declined to sing it.
