Welcome to my second flight since the initial pandemic lockdown was implemented in March 2020. The restrictions in the United Kingdom have started to ease up and flights started to resume after being grounded for so long. 

The Business Class service has changed due to the measures BA put in place to deal with the pandemic. The hot food service was removed and replaced with a snack bag. The reason, according to BA, is to protect staff from exposure to passengers and minimise the spread of Covid. Other airlines have not removed their normal hot food service however, BA have been accused of cost cutting in the name of Covid measures.

Now the way we travelled before and how we travel going forward will be completely different. It is clear at the airport that sanitisation is important and measures are in place for your safety. This includes wearing a face mask at ALL TIMES.
