The Atlantic hurricane season, lasting from June 1 to November 30, is expected to be active this year, with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicting a 60% chance of above-normal storm activity. Last year’s season was one of the costliest on record, leaving many states devastated by back-to-back hurricanes.
