This is repair video we will be working and an iPhone 6 that was mailed to us from Texas. Customer changed the charging port and as a result the phone does not boot up anymore. The phone turns on and apple logo shows up for few seconds, then display goes off but the backlight stays on. The iPhone is not initiating the boot. The phone is also not recognized in iTunes. We suspect a tristar chip problem since the iPhone is not recognized by iTunes. After we replaced the Tristar chip, iTunes now recognizes the phone, but after we attempted software update via iTunes, we got error 9. Error 9 can mean allot of things including corrupt operating system or Nand issue. We fixed the phone partially but we will still need to dig further to to find what is causing iTunes error 9.
