So the machining requirement is totally rigorous.
For this test piece machined by Jingdiao 5-aixs high-speed machining center JDGR300H, one R0.4mm PCD cutting tool is used for continuous finishing for about 82 hours, but only with 0.6μm tool wear!! The surface roughness Sa＜10nm, Sv＜35nm, PV＜10μm, and waviness is less than 25nm.
What’s the machining secret? It’s the remaining stock by on-machine measurement technology!
