Neymar was selected for his first Olympic Games in 2012, in which he scored a total of three goals. During the group stage of the 2021 Summer Olympics in London 2012, Brazil faced Egypt and Neymar played his first-ever Olympic game. He then scored his first-ever Olympic goal straight away, which ultimately gave Brazil a 3-2 victory.
