Caught on cam: Head constable hits senior sub-inspector with baton in UP

Hours after a video showing a head constable attacking a senior subinspector with a baton in Sitapur district went viral on social media, the head constable was suspended while an FIR against him was registered at Kotwali police station area in the district on Tuesday. The incident had taken place at RMP trisection in Kotwali Nagar of Sitapur district. Giving details, Superintendent of Police, Sitapur, LR Kumar said that senior sub-inspector Ramesh had scolded head constable Ramashray for not conducting proper checking during the lockdown. He got agitated over this and attacked his senior.
