1928 Ford AA truck, driving for first time since 1960.

This is my 1928 Model A Ford truck that my Dad and I have built. The last time it was driven was 1960. My Uncle Bob bought it for the body to use on a car frame to make a pickup instead of a 1 1/2 ton truck.

When I bought this all it had was the rolling chassis, a set of fenders off of a 1931 car, the running boards, and what was left of the flatbed. The motor and transmission were there, and it didn't take long to get it running, and we spent a couple years gathering parts to put it back together. It is an early 1928 AR, and probably would have come as a truck chassis with no cab, or a retrofitted Model TT cab, so we decided to build our own wooden cab, like many probably did back then.

This is the point we are are now, finally rolling again after 56 years!
