DESERT RAIN Beaded Medallion Tutorial | #PotomacBeads Earthen Serenity box pendant
Make a statement with this textural beaded medallion! I used materials from the March "Earthen Serenity" box from Potomac Beads to create this gorgeous piece, but all the materials should also be available for purchase individually on their website.
Please be sure as you make this to reinforce every round (which is not shown in the video). Lots of reinforcing will help the medallion be more sturdy. It is better to use multiple rounds of thinner thread (size 6 or 0.15mm) than using a thicker thread like a size 8 or 10lb.

Materials:
18x EVA Beads (available from Potomac Beads)
24x 9mm Dagger beads
18x 4mm Czech faceted rounds (AKA firepolish beads)
24x 6mm crystal bicones (smoky topaz AB)
8/0 Seed Beads (Miyuki round)
6lb Fireline or size 6 Dragon Thread
Size 10 beading needle
Additional tools/materials I used:
8mm Metal Melon beads (from Earthen Serenity box)
11/0 seed beads (Miyuki Dark Bronze 11-457)
Chain in 2 sizes
Headpins
Jumprings
Selection of pliers and wire cutters
Double strand clasp
