STRAY DOG LEADS FIREFIGHTERS TO TRAPPED HIKER 🐕🏔️🔥

Crew from Station 14 in Flagstaff was running a routine brush clearance Wednesday when a limping blue heeler mix appeared on the access road. Dog wouldn't stop barking. Wouldn't move. Captain Erin Salcedo sent two guys to follow it. The heeler led them eight hundred yards downhill to a washed-out section of the Weatherford Trail where a forty-three-year-old hiker named Joel Phan sat pinned under a dislodged boulder, both legs trapped at the shins. He'd been there since Monday evening. No cell signal. Phan later told reporters the dog had shown up Tuesday morning and refused to leave. Station 14 adopted the heeler. Named her Dispatch.
