The Execution of Queen Anne Boleyn

On 19th May 1536, at 8am, Queen Anne Boleyn was taken from her apartments in the palace complex at the Tower of London. She was led to the north side of the White Tower, before the House of Ordnance, where a new scaffold had been erected. There she was executed by a French swordsman. This is the story of that event.
