Food, Music, Fun: The Labour Day Pig Roast at Victoria Park, with proceeds going to the revitalization of Victoria Park. Hosted by Mark Critch and featuring some of St. John's best and brightest players (because, as Alan pointed out, just about every musician is gig-free on a Monday) and ace chef-ery from the culinary experts at Mallard Cottage and Chinched Bistro. Eating and drinking (the rum punch was deadly) and listening to great music , all for an excellent cause...what a way to close out a long weekend, as well as a Summer. September 4, 2017
