LifePO4 definitely changed how I feel about my Auxilary battery set up in my two 4wheel drives. Previously I had standard Deep Cycle Batteries, Lead Crystal batteries, high-end AGM batteries like a NorthStar for my Overlanding vehicle, and play truck. About a year ago I switched to a Revolution LiFePO4 Lithium batterie in my Landcruiser 105 Overlanding Vehicle, and I have not looked back. However, after I changed my play truck for a Jeep, I started putting more in-depth research into LiFePO4, and I discovered that choosing a good LFP LiFePo4 battery is like opening Pandora's box. Not everything is like it appears to be in the LIFePO4 market, so I recommend watching this video before you make any LiFePO4 purchase decision it could safe you a lot of headaches and money.
I now have a dual Deep Cycle System Lithium LiFePO4 set up under the bonnet of my Landcruiser the two LFP batteries are charged straight from my 200amp high output alternator. In my Jeep I have a 100ah DCS Auxilary LiFePo4 battery.
